In the second semester of the third year Illustration Bachelor at LUCA School of Arts in Ghent.
I let myself get inspired by the horror novella "The Willows", written by Algernon Blackwood and first published in 1907.
I produced four A1 size illustrations of scenes in the story that sparked my imagination. Three illustrations have been painted with washed black and yellow ink. The third one, from left to right, has been screenprinted.

In this project I combined my love for stories (specially horror stories) and poster design. I love to incorporate text in the illustrations and see how they can add to the design.
