Hi there!
I am Kick Stals, a young illustrator from the Netherlands.
I am fascinated by the beautiful and the dark things in life. My inspiration comes from the weird and fantastical in all kinds of media like books, movies, games and music. I connect these interests to the everyday things like nature, architecture, people and animals.
My prefered medium to work with is with ink on paper, and to finalize an illustration digitally.
In 2022 I graduated from the Bachelor Illustrated & Animated Storytelling at St.Joost School of Art & Design in Breda with my project 'Be aware'. I proudly presented 'Be aware' at multiple expositions and events like the DutchDesignWeek in Eindhoven, ARTY PARTY in the Melkweg Amsterdam, BUT-FilmFestival in Breda and Klimaatfestival 040 in Eindhoven.
Since 2024 I have continued my studies in Illustration at LUCA School of Arts in Gent Belgium. I joined in the second year Illustration, and in the third year received my Bachelors degree here as well and am now in the Master of Illustration.
I am looking forward to everything that is to come.
